Scott Hafetz was born and raised in the Atlantic City area. He has been an independent health and life insurance agent for over twenty years. For more than ten years he has been a General Agent (GA) for Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey, a distinction which is awarded to only a handful of agents who meet very stringent criteria relative to business volume and quality of performance

Scott's hands-on approach and customer service oriented philosophy has resulted in his agency experiencing tremendous growth. He now employs over 35 full-time employees comprised of licensed sales agents and support staff. His business volume has more than tripled in the past five years, culminating with the honor of being Horizon's #1 Broker in New Jersey for 2005. In order to accommodate his continuing growth, Scott relocated the company in June of 2005 from Pleasantville to a completely renovated, state-of-the-art facility in Linwood that utilizes the latest web-based agency software and systems. Since then Scott has expanded the business to Northern New Jersey and plans to open an office there in the near future.

Under Scott's leadership, the agency has in recent years expanded into larger markets, but continues to serve companies of all sizes, including the mom and pop businesses upon which the agency was built. His insistence of product knowledge, attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction at any cost has made for a successful transition into the larger market.

Scott is a family man who is active in his community and he encourages his employees to do the same. He has a wife, Kathy, who is a registered nurse, and three children, Jordon, Brianna and Madison. Scott is an active participant in various charities. He presently serves as Vice President of Atlantic Prevention Resources, a non-profit charitable organization, and he serves on the Boards of Beth Israel Synagogue and Gilda's Club as well.

Paul has more than 20 years of outstanding achievement in the areas of accounting and financial administration. He graduated with honors from Drexel University in 1982 with a B.S. in Business Administration. In 1985 he received his certified public accountant's (CPA) license, and in 1996 he earned a Master of Business Administration from Widener University. He has been with Hafetz & Associates for the past nine years.

Sue brought her 24 years of business experience to Hafetz & Associates in early 2007. She has specialized over the years in the areas of procurement, customer service and problem solving. As Claims Manager she is responsible for ensuring that the medical claims of all subscribers are processed and paid as efficiently as possible.

Michael Venditto is Sales Manager for Hafetz & Associates, serving clients throughout South Jersey. He brings expertise in Group Life, Health and Disability issues as a former Marketing Coordinator of Horizon BCBS in Newark, NJ. Michael believes in building long-term relationships with his clients. He feels that it is his responsibility as an insurance agent to consult with and educate his clients in health care issues and leave them with the satisfaction that they are properly protected.

Sean has been with Hafetz & Associates since March of 2006 and is the Assistant Sales Manager. Sean's focus has been working together with business owners and managers to come up with creative solutions to get the best value for their companies. As the Assistant Sales Manager, Sean works closely with newly hired brokers within Hafetz & Associates to mentor them on how to educate their clients, be creative, and meet their client's service needs. He is licensed in Health, Life, and Disability and welcomes the opportunity to help businesses with their benefits.

Michael joined Hafetz & Associates in 2008 with an extensive history of helping South Jersey businesses meet their goals. His background in the hospitality field, honed after years with various Marriott full-service hotels around the country, provided him with the “customer first” approach. This attitude is what he used to assist small and large companies with their marketing strategies, first with the Press of Atlantic City, and then with Comcast Spotlight. Finding the right strategy and utilizing every tool possible for the benefit of the client is the only way that Michael knows.

Before joining the Hafetz team, Dave worked for more than two years as an insurance agent with the Knights of Columbus. He specializes in Group Health, Life, Annuity and Long Term Care products. Dave managed country clubs for 17 years prior to becoming a licensed producer. He is also bilingual; Spanish being his second language. Dave is a Rutgers University graduate. He resides in Burlington, N.J. with his wife Annabell and their three children Darlina, Jeanna Rose and Analisa. Dave is civically active throughout his community.

Jeff is a Benefits Specialist with Hafetz & Associates with a background in Life Insurance and Long Term Care as well as Retirement Annuities. He has been licensed since 2007 and joined the firm in 2009. He will be concentrating his efforts in Northern and Central Jersey where he lives with his wife Vicki and their three children. His extensive sales experience within the business-to-business market should make an excellent transition to the Small Group marketplace.

Ginny is Hafetz & Associates’ most senior Group Administrator, having started with the company in January of 2001. Due to her experience, hard work and dedication, she has recently been promoted to Group Administration Supervisor. In addition to performing the duties of Group Administrator, she is now responsible for training, coaching, troubleshooting and supervisory functions. She also provides an additional layer of quality control and helps to increase the overall efficiency of the office staff.
